The legs of this table are made of goatslegs that in this piece and with this application receive their third life. In the (north) of France extensive hunting is being done and of the goatslegs (first life) often hatracks were made (second life). By now this type of hat rack is out of favour and therefore it often emerges at second hand fairs. As a tribute to the goat Rolf gives the goatsleg a new function in this table (third life).
